God appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on Monday and was remanded in custody.
God fearing individuals in an intimate relationship with God should fear no more after God was charged with domestic violence related
coercive control and other 'course of conduct' offences spanning over 2000 years.
LP Jackson (KC), appearing for the Crown, said the brief of evidence was voluminous and included acts of violence attributed to God, intended acts of violence, instilling fear into children, seeking a relationship of subservience, deprivations and also allegations of miracles that might involve the use and distribution of psychotropic drugs.
There are also issues of fraud from the collection plate and donations with records not accounting for the disappearance of millions of dollars in undeclared income.
"I thought I only had to keep tax receipts and records for seven years," said God.
God was denied bail and will return to court in August 2024.
