Snot Pipping to be an Olympic Sport at Los Angeles Olympic Games 2028

Snot Pipping is to be granted special Demonstration Promotion Status at the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympic Games, with a hope of becoming an official sport at the Brisbane 2032 Summer Olympics. Snot Pipping is being promoted as a COVID friendly and satisfying sport to engage in which helps people keep their distance.

While demonstration sports officially went out of fashion in 1992 China gained a special dispensation for the 2008 Beijing Wushu Tournament. Los Angeles is using this precedent to incorporate homegrown Snot Pipping from Kentucky as a Special Demonstration Sport at the Los Angeles games.

The official Snot Pipping website describes the process of firing lemon seeds at a target by nose propulsion. A Special Olympics event is also being organised, however the exact bodily method of propelling the lemon seeds for people without noses is still being finalised.
