About the Israeli Bastardry in Gaza

The Adelaide Ventricle can no longer be silent.

What Israel is doing is genocide and outrageous.

It is not antisemitic to say that the bastardry of Israel’s slaughter of innocents led by Benjamin Netanyahu is an appalling stain on the state of Israel. It is simply saying the truth.

That the Israeli people so previously horrendously damaged and persecuted by the Nazis in WWII, which ultimately lead to the creation of the State of Israel in 1948, are now doing shows a core of hatred and retribution onto a displaced indigenous people that is unbelievable.

When Israel first commenced their retribution for the appalling 7 October 2023 attacks I thought I understood that the initial Israeli bastardry was a biblical response. When they reached 10x the appalling deaths of 7 October 2023 I thought surely that is a sufficient biblical response. Surely that will satisfy their anger. But I was wrong, Israel has kept going.

I spent time in Israel in the distant past, on a Kibbutz near Haifa, with many holocaust survivors. Their families were hard working people. My Australian friends and I lived with them, we ate eggplant in the communal kitchens, my friends and I helped them raise chickens, and we picked avocados. For those of you who haven't been to the country, Israel is the epitome of a biblical setting. People bustling, ancient towns, olive trees on rocky mountains, drip fed orchards. I walked up Masada at dawn and visited the ruins of Capernaum. I arrived in Nazareth at dusk and with nowhere to stay was guided to the Sisters of Nazarene to stay. Thank you.

But there is also an ancient hate seething and swirling in the air now seen with Israel's holocaust on the Palestinian people. These people are completely entrapped. It is not a war, it is a slaughter, it is shooting fish in a bowl, it is outrageous. The Israeli people so persecuted by Adolf Hitler now fall behind Benjamin Netanyahu and allow him to lead their slaughter of children. Why? Because they haven't learned to turn the other cheek, because they are too childish, too enraptured with the horror and effects of their own internationally condemned tantrum. 

It is not antisemitic to hate and despise what Israel is doing to the Palestinians, calling out their bastardry is simply a truth that Israel cannot hide behind. They cannot hide behind the mountains of dead children they have killed, it is appalling, and I want them to know that this one person is not afraid to say it. The Adelaide Ventricle wishes more voices would feel the strength to publicise their opposition instead of wanting to but live in fear of reprisal. And we know what that looks like.
