According to NZ police it will take them around three years to close a previously unforeseen loophole that has allowed hundreds of protesters to park absolutely where they like, eg in the middle of the capital's busiest street, for over a week, while freedom camping on parliament grounds. Non-protestors spokesperson, a retired North Island professor, said parking tickets in New Zealand are now a thing of the past, as are expensive hotel rooms and parking fees at Sky Stadium when visiting the capital. Each visitor can now reliably anticipate a leafy campsite with a view of parliament house, a personal portaloo, free parking, and no need for a vaccination pass or mask.
